Can you believe it...?

Well folks...still no baby!
We were scheduled to induce this morning, but the hospital cancelled the induction because they were at capacity.
I am in the process of rescheduling the induction, but due to the holidays, doctor's schedules, and "you name it"...it may be January 7th before they can do it. The wait continues...!

We are hoping and praying he will come on his own, or I will be delivering a very large, mature baby next week!!

He is late...

Our little guy is now officially late. He seems to like his warm and cozy quarters...

I have been having a lot of contractions, but nothing is progressing.
Mike & I took my parents and my brother to the Mall of America today to do some walking. We walked and walked and walked... We will see if this brings us some help!

I see the doctor again on Monday, at which time she will schedule to induce me. We are hoping to induce on Tuesday, or we will have to wait until after the holidays. UGH! A better option, he will come on his own before Tuesday.

I will not be pregnant in 2009 - I hope?!

No change...

We have nothing new to report, so we thought we would share some pictures with you.

This is the nursery. The only thing missing...the baby!

My dad made this wood cradle. He has become quite the woodworker. Very impressive...!

And of course...we cannot forget about Leonard & Lola. They are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little brother. You can see the excitement in their eyes!

39 weeks

1 week to go...!!
We saw the doctor on Tuesday and she was happy to report that we are making some progress. Small progress, but at least it is progress...
Mike & I are heading to the mall tonight to do some walking. Yes- I will be one of those really pregnant ladies waddling through the mall hoping and praying we can spark some labor.

We will continue to keep you updated..we cannot wait to share our good news with all of you!

Still waiting...

Another doctor's visit today with the same old news- "no change". It is looking more and more like this little guy is going to wait until his due date or after. My doctor tells me this is common for first time babies.
Oh well, this will give me more time to complete my Christmas shopping...!

37 weeks

Ahh...37 weeks! We are officially on the home stretch.

I saw the doctor this week and was prepared to hear I was dilated (I was convinced I was), but instead the doctor told me quite the opposite - no signs at all. I asked her what I needed to do to get this process moving - jumping jacks, move furniture, drink castor oil...? She informed me that the old wives tales do not work. So, to all the mom's out there - any advice?!

Sorry- no pictures of the pregnant belly. However, I will post some picture of the nursery in the next few days.

Stay tuned for pictures of the little guy - he should be arriving in the next 26 days. (Hopefully sooner than later!) The doctor has promised us a 2008 baby!
